Just like Mother’s Day, we have Father’s Day celebration every year to honour fellow fathers in the world for their sacrifice in the family in terms of providing shelter, food and of course money, as well as their endless love for all family members.
Although Father’s Day is widely recognized but it is not yet an official public holiday for everyone, except some regions in the Western countries. This, however, does not stop all daughters and sons from celebrating the day with their beloved fathers with a deluxe family dinner and gifts. During the earlier days, fathers would receive home-cooked dinner prepared by their wives and children. In recent days, the children (especially those who are already working) would bring their fathers to an extravagant meal in a fancy restaurant.
There are also some who give their fathers some time alone with their mothers. Allowing personal time for their father with his partner is probably the best gift in the world. Just imagine, he works almost 10 months a year (deducting off days and annual leave) and he barely had any time to date his dedicated partner. Children paying for a night staycation in a local hotel is probably the trendsetters now. How much does a Deluxe Room in a local hotel costs as compared to the amount of money he spent on your daily needs – education and such?
